At the end of this course, you will:

  • In depth knowledge about Electric Vehicle and Hybrid Electric vehicle architecture, design and validation.
  • Working level knowledge about integration of Battery Management ECU, Motor Controller ECU & Vehicle ECUs, CAN and LIN protocols.
  • Understanding of testing techniques, viz. Human Machine Interface and Convenience functionality, Telematics and Fail safe systems and algorithms etc.
  • Familiarity with testing instruments for EVs and HEVs like 3 phase analyzer etc.
  • Knowledge of vehicle validation process, robust DVP creation.
  • Basic knowledge about regulatory requirements applicable to battery electric and hybrid electric vehicles.
  • Knowledge about control system and network analysis simulation techniques and familiarity with simulation tools like MATLAB-Simulink, State Flow etc.
  • Detailed understanding of attribute definition, futuring, architecture benchmarking.
